THE LIGHT ROAST

  • Region: Sidamo, Ethiopia
  • Elevation: 2,150 Meters (7,054 Feet)
  • Varietal: Indigenous Heirloom, Arabica
  • Farming: Organic Practices, Shade Grown
  • Process: River Water Washed, Sun Dried

From the rich volcanic soils of the highest elevation coffee growing region in Ethiopia (over 7,000 ft), this delicate Light Roast delivers a refreshing and complex taste profile with berry and nutty brown-sugar notes. This organic coffee is grown in the shade of acacia and wanza trees, selectively handpicked at peak ripeness, fermented underwater for 42-46 hours, washed with fresh Gerenbicho river water, sun dried for 10-12 days on steep hillsides exposed to swift winds, then laid to rest for 30 days to allow the beans to settle and lock in their true flavor.

THE MEDIUM ROAST

  • Region: Carmo de Minas, Brazil
  • Elevation: 1,100 Meters (3,609 Feet)
  • Varietal: Yellow Catuai, Arabica
  • Farming: Organic Practices, Shade Grown
  • Process: Dry Natural

For generations, organic growers on the slopes of the Mantiqueira mountains have nurtured Cup of Excellence quality coffee known for a floral and citrus aroma followed by a creamy-smooth long and sweet finish with tasting notes of chocolate and brioche. Established to protect the identity and heritage of this distinguished region, APROCAM describes its Protected Geographical Indication seal as “a passport to the beautiful mountains and centennial farms in our region. We highlight the care for the environment and respect for our people.”

THE DARK ROAST

  • Region: Santa Marta, Colombia
  • Elevation: 1,750 Meters (5,741 Feet)
  • Varietal: Castillo, Arabica
  • Farming: USDA Organic, Shade Grown
  • Process: Spring Water Washed, Sun Dried

In the heart of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world's highest coastal mountain range just 26 miles from Caribbean Sea, lays a small community of farmers organically growing coffee in volcanic soil. Expect an energetic yet balanced cup with notes of red fruits and caramel. Surrounded by natural reserves, this region produces well-bodied coffee influenced by the cool shade of native trees, the winds of the Caribbean, and the abundance of natural water sources.
